Five Convenient Bus Routes
Catholic education that is worth the trip!
19 School Districts provide bus service to Kennedy Catholic in the morning and after school. Several school districts provide a late bus at 5:00pm for those students who participate in after school activities.
Kennedy Catholic is easily accessible via the Harlem Line of the Metro-North Railroad. KCPS offers regular shuttle bus service between the Goldens Bridge Metro-North Station and the school in the morning and the afternoon.
KCPS offers the following shuttle buses for the 2024-2025 school year. If your son or daughter is in need of transportation services from any of our shuttles listed below, we ask that you sign them up on registration day. Daily runs from Kennedy Catholic to the Goldens Bridge Metro-North train station. AM service is from 7:15 am to 7:47 am, and PM Service is 2:45 pm/3:10 pm/3:40 pm/4:10pm and 4:38 pm. An annual fee of $500 will be billed to your FACTS tuition account.
St. Mary’s, Fishkill & St. Columba’s, Hopewell Junction Shuttle
One bus departing daily from St. Mary’s Fishkill, NY school parking lot, located at 106 Jackson St. at 6:45 am. then departing daily from St. Columba school parking lot at 428 Rt. 82 Hopewell Junction departing at 7:00 am.
One afternoon shuttle bus will depart Kennedy Catholic at 2:45 pm and arrive at St. Columba at 3:25 pm. That bus will continue to St. Mary’s arriving there at 3:40 p.m.
There will be an activity bus leaving Kennedy Catholic at 5:30 pm. An annual fee of $1,200 will be billed to your FACTS tuition account.
Port Chester / Armonk / Bedford Shuttle
This shuttle will depart from Kohl’s parking lot at 431 Boston Post Road, Port Chester at 7:00 a.m. Departing St. Patrick 29 Cox Avenue Armonk at 7:15am, then then stop at DeCicco’s parking lot, 422 Old Post Road, Bedford, at 7:30 and arrive at Kennedy Catholic by 7:55 a.m.
The p.m. shuttle service will depart Kennedy Catholic at 2:45 p.m. arriving at DeCicco’s at 3:05p.m., Armonk at 3:20p.m. and Port Chester at 3:40p.m. An annual fee of $1,200 will be billed to your FACTS tuition account.
Yonkers/Tarrytown/Elmsford/Valhalla Shuttle
Departing Cross County Center 8000 Mall Walk Yonkers at 6:45a.m. Departing the Transfiguration School parking lot at 40 Prospect Ave, Tarrytown at 7:00 a.m. Departing Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 59 E Main Street Elmsford at 7:15a.m. Departing Holy Name of Jesus, 2 Broadway Valhalla** at TBD and arriving at Kennedy Catholic by 8:00a.m.
One afternoon bus will depart Kennedy Catholic at 2:45 p.m. and arrive at Valhalla** time TBD, Elmsford 3:30p.m., Tarrytown at 3:45 p.m. and Yonkers at 4:00 p.m. An annual fee of $1,200 will be billed to your FACTS tuition account.
Peekskill Shuttle
Peekskill shuttle will depart from Church of the Assumption parking lot located at 131 Union Ave, Peekskill, NY at 6:50 a.m. and return to Church of the Assumption parking lot at 3:30 p.m. An annual fee of $1,200 will be billed to your FACTS tuition account.
Student Parking Pass Information
Parking facilities are provided for students and staff free of charge. Registration of your vehicle and a school issued permit are required.

Weather Delays
Students will not be penalized for missing classes due to closings/delays in their home districts.
Kennedy Catholic prides itself on its ability to keep your child academically connected to school even while outside the classroom. With Kennedy’s growing regional appeal to students traveling from a distance, this means Kennedy can keep your child linked to academic resources as well as safe at home in the event of inclement weather.
Kennedy Catholic is always open in inclement weather despite possible delayed openings in neighboring school districts (i.e., when area districts report a delay because local road conditions are unsafe for travel). Because Kennedy Catholic is comprised of students coming from so many school districts, we must always remain open to accommodate those students whose districts are not experiencing a delay. In that case, students should follow the ruling of their local districts. If weather is so severe that classes are canceled all together, you will receive an IRIS alert at the contact phone numbers/email you provided to the school on the parental/guardian contact information and a notification will be posted on the school website.
The KCPS shuttle buses will also follow the districts delay schedule in which they pick up. For example, the shuttle bus, which picks up at St.Columba and St.Mary’s, will follow the Wappinger Falls Central School District delay schedule. The shuttle from the Goldens Bridge Train Station will continue to pick up at the regular scheduled time but will also make additional trips later in the morning if there are delays in districts south of the train station. We remind our student drivers to avoid potentially unsafe road conditions by not traveling in inclement weather. Our priority is your safety and well-being.
